The following is a list of hunger-related web sites which includes hunger-relief organizations and other sites dealing with the fight against hunger and poverty.

Feeding America -- The national network of food banks.

Bread for the World -- A nationwide, Christian movement that seeks justice for the world's hungry people by lobbying our nation's decision makers.

Children's Defense Fund -- An organization which exists to provide a strong and effective voice for all the children of America, who cannot voice, lobby or speak for themselves.

Community Food Security Coalition -- Promotes local family-based agriculture as an alternative to globalize food system. Focus on self-reliance of communities in meeting their food needs.

Foodchain -- In partnership with America's Second Harvest, the National Food-Rescue Network is comprised of 127 programs that collect surplus prepared and perishable food, and distribute it to agencies that serve people in need.

Food Research & Action Center -- A national organization working to improve public policies to eradicate hunger and malnutrition in the United States.

Food Stamp Hotline (800) 221-5689. A toll-free food stamp hotline which assists potential recipients with their questions about eligibility and benefit levels.

Oxfam -- A non-profit, nonsectarian organization supporting the self-help efforts of poor and marginalized people striving to better their lives.

Share Our Strength -- An organization that supports food assistance and promotes economic independence.

World Hunger Year -- An organization working for just policies creating a more secure world and supporting innovative programs that create sustainable livelihood for all.
